CHANGE FOR THE BETTER
Reflect
While pressing ahead, and be as wise as a serpent and dutiful as the ant
The year is fast approaching its end
Let us give thought to how life has been
There is sickness and death on every side
If not for God, how would we have survived
There are shortages of this, that, and the other
Prices skyrocketing, businesses plummeting
But we have been kept safe and provided for
As it is written if God be for us, nothing can withstand us
Think of how you suffered, and the tears you cried
For loved ones who got sick, and those who died
The year has been tough that no one can deny
But by God’s grace, we are standing, healthy and alive
Going forward into the new year let us endeavor
To be as a serpent, not venomous, but just as clever
Be like the ant, be dutiful, and do our due diligence
Make healthy choices, please, let’s not be negligent
